I might try this one of theses days. I love sweet and sour chicken.
Sounds delish - I may try it with chicken breasts instead of thighs. It might also be good with boneless pork chops - yum!
Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching and NEVER fry bacon naked!

The recipe sounds good, but can not eat pineapple.. I am allergic to it..

If it is to be, it is up to me!
Yet another Aldi-friendly recipe from one of my cookbooks. :)
Crock Pot Sweet & Sour Chicken
2-3 lbs chicken thighs (approx. 12 pcs)
14 oz can pineapple chunks in juice
3/4 cup onions
1 1/4 cups bottled sweet & sour sauce
1/4 cup water (optional)
Spray stoneware with cooking spray, then layer chicken in bottom. Pour pineapple and juice over chicken, and spread onions over pineapple. Pour sweet & sour sauce over all. If you think you'll want more sauce, pour 1/4 cup of water on top of sauce. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.
Chicken - $4 (approximate...since it didn't take the whole $5.49 bag)
Sweet & Sour Sauce - $1
Pineapples - 85 cents
Onion - 40 cents
Total: about $6.25 for 6 servings
