These and many others are listed on the Jefferson City Road Runners web page at http://runjeffcity.org/calendar/
Some of the half marathons listed above also have a 5K or 10K option. There is a half marathon in Eldon that I would like to do but I'm not sure I will be able to. I am signed up for 3 half marathons in April and May right now as it is. I'm not sure how much "running" I am going to be able to do though because I am fighting a foot/heel issue. I fell doing a trail race last August and I tore/partially tore just about everything in my foot. The doctors told me what to do and I did it and I was back running in no time. Well, a few weeks ago I did a 4 mile run on a track and when I was done my heel was hurting so bad I couldn't hardly walk. I went to the doctor about a week later and she told me it is most likely plantar fascitious. I have an appointment with an orthopedist on Thursday, weather permitting. I haven't been able to run since my 4 mile run, doctors orders. So we shall see what the orthopedist tells me. My doctor thought about doing another MRI of my foot and ankle to see if everything healed correctly. She thought the orthopedist may do that though so she decided not to. She is wondering if maybe something didn't heal quite right and that is causing some of the pain. I don't know but I know I want to get back to running soon!!!!
