I have fibromyalgia and this is a symptom that I constantly have and that worsens with stress and lack of sleep, as you mentioned. I would ask your doctor.

I also notice it very strongly and painfully if I'm grieving or struggling with grief, my chest, arms, and hands will be painfully numb and tingly and cramp up.

I have had tingling on the pinkie side of my hands for years. Sometimes it includes the ring finger. It's not carpal tunnel -- I've had to EMG's which ruled that out. I also have a great deal of pain in my arms. Have at x-rays and MRI of cervical spine -- nada. While I have my share of other symptoms, these seem to be how fibro affects me the most. You are the first person that I've heard describe the same sensations.

Sometimes when I am really behind on sleep or have added stress the outside of my arms will hurt and I have sporadic tingling in my hands and arms. Recently I've just had a tingling sensation on the outside of my hands, only the pinky side. Anyone relate and have more info on this? I know it has to do with tightness and possibly something being pinched, but beyond that....
