I asked my doctor. He had no objections. Not that that is any guarantee!
And my blood pressure has been creeping up, so lowering it would help me.

My doctor knew about Teitelbaum and said the problem is, that dr. did no targeted formal research. Some is happening now as I have found in my internet searches.

Thank you Kathy. That is oh so true! I was just reading how D-ribose may lower blood pressure which might be helpful to someone with high blood pressure. My blood pressure is already low-normal so I'm going to do some more research before deciding.

Just a caveat... if you have multiple medical issues, you may want to be sure none of this is going to negatively affect any other conditions you might have... it can be a real disaster!...
Be careful, okay?

Life comes in specific increments, which we receive as a gift of one moment at a time. That's why it's called

That is a pretty good price. I will check that out. I can't believe they soak us like this for sugar! Chris

Thanks Chris. I really appreciate you posting this. For years, right close to 3pm I get really sleepy. I often have to fight to stay awake which I find very annoying as we are already dealing with a lot of pain.

I've never heard of D-ribose but it looks to be worth looking into. I've also been told that malic acid is helpful too. Being on a fixed income, I tend to do alot of research and see if anyone else is really helped before forking out the money. I've found a 10.6 oz jar of D-ribose on Swanson for 24.99. Sounds like great stuff!

Thanks again:)

The book From Fatigued to Fantastic was suggested to me by my Physical Therapist. Teitelbaum is the author. (spelling?) The first thing this Dr. suggests is D-ribose.

I have been taking the D-ribose for 3 weeks. My pain is much less. It feels like a miracle! For maybe 2 years, I was using round the clock 8 hr. Tylenol. If I had a bad flare, that was not even enough help. Now, about once a day I take the 4 hour Tylenol.

Dare I hope something is actually helping me?

The second thing I am doing is 'juicing' and drinking mostly juices made with vegetables. But I don't think that is what is making the big difference. That is supposed to take away my cravings and it does not seem to be working. From the book Eat for Health and Eat to Live by Dr. Fuhrman. Doing that made no difference yet in cravings or fatigue.

Every afternoon my whole life I am extremely fatigued! I hate this! A sleep study said I did not have sleep apnea. Lately, a friend suggested eating protein. This is only the second day I am analyzing this. I have to say I am not sleepy this afternoon ( 3:20 pm) nor yesterday. Normally I am sound asleep by now till 5:00 or even 6:00pm! I sure hope this is the answer to my afternoon fatigue!
