Sounds fun!-- I miss bike riding, but a tailbone injury years ago scuttled that for me...
That's life, I guess! LOL

"The real secret of success is enthusiasm..." Walter P. Chrysler said it, I believe it. That's what I want in my life--to give my imagination a chance, to live with energy and enthusiasm!
Ralph Waldo Emerson said 'Life belongs to the energetic.' But you don't have to be frenetic and hyper--some energy is quiet and steady, like a heartbeat... and that works too! LOL
Life comes in specific increments, which we receive as a gift of one moment at a time. That's why it's called t
Work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching and NEVER fry bacon naked!
You are successful the moment you start moving toward a worthwhile goal.
I don't think I introduced myself in this forum when I joined two days ago. I am Steph, a fifty year old mom of one teen who lives in Ohio with her father. I moved to Florida about a year ago and on with my partner about 6 months ago. I am a full time author. I have a heart condition, which has required several surgeries in my lifetime. I also have FM and RA. Had the roughest time ever this past winter with pain. Now, I am feeling much better. I work with my GP and cardiologist who are very good about dealing with my various conditions. Have considered specialists for the RA and FM but, sheesh, there are only so many dics a girl can face, so, unlesss there is ever a problem my other dcs won't/can't deal with, I will keep it this way.
It has been a great morning so far for me and I feel Fantastic! I had appointments at the gym with my aquatic trainer and the masseuse. We were expecting rain - being florida in summer, we are always expecting rain - so I debated the sensiblity of riding my bike. Deciding that no matter how the sky looked and what the forcast said, the rain rarely actually comes to us til afternoon, I took the bike. 2 1/2 miles there and 3 back because I stopped at the market which requires taking the long way around the creek, which is really part of a lagoon, not a creek at all. The session with the trainer, my second, was awesome. Se really worked me hard and I had fun. My RA and FM have been sort of low maintenance the last few days so we decided to push while I could be pushed. Then the message! Wonderful! Now, I have arrived home hungry so grabbing a banana and some water before I decide what to do about lunch. I will lead an online meditation group in a little over and hour and then spend the afternoon working. Fantastic Day! Yay!!!!!!
