Ladies, now would be the perfect time for you to go on the Cabbage Soup Diet! You could eat all the hot, filling, tasty cabbage soup that you wanted for 4 days, adding to that fruit on the first day, veggies and on the second, (plus that big baked potato with butter for dinner), fruit & veggies on the third, and then bananas plus milk on the fourth! And....the best part is that you'd lost 5 or more pounds. You could do this! It's the best time of the year for it and you'd be rid of your holiday fat gain!
Let me know and I'll send you the recipe and the diet so you can get started. I'm now at 144.2 which is a bit lower than I was before the holidays started when I hit 147!

i agree..its hard eating cold smoothies , yogurt and salads..all the warm hot comfort foods have lots of calories unless you can make your own..like soup stews chili..etc
I am totally with you on that one. The weather certainly doesn't help; it seems I just want to stay inside and read. It doesn't help that I ate too much over the holidays and seem to be hungry all the time.
Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble getting "back in the groove"? I mean eating right, exercising, etc. It is not going as easy as the start of last year for me. I guess maybe if this freezing weather will ever move on, I will be more in the mood to eat salads & smoothies again, right now, all I seem to be wanting is "comfort" foods & not the healthy kind. So it is a constant struggle between good & bad for me...how about ya'll?
