There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And
maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
Breathe in love & compassion.. Breathe out peace & forgiveness.

The answer to your question is NO! I still measure, weigh and count most things.
At breakfast-counted out my strawberry mini wheats-25/serving, measured my blueberries and strawberry slices-1/2c each. I don't measure my milk in my coffee because I have done it enough I know it's about 1/4c skim milk.
Lunch-measured my rice and cooked apples, weighed my roasted pork....yep, I am still measuring-and I am OK with it!

Happy Friday to you!

As we start to "get a hang" of this lifestyle change, we become confident that we can "eyeball" a serving. Have you gotten to this point? Do you:

*Pour cereal straight from the box into your bowl?
*Say "that looks like about 2 Tbsp. of half & half"?
*Say: "I'm sure I ate only 1/2 cup of ice cream"?

If you find yourself overly confident about your portions, you might be in for a shock.

Your challenge today is to MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE!!! Get out your measuring cup, spoons, and scale. Measure ALL foods and beverages consumed. You just might be surprised at how much you REALLY are eating & drinking.

Have a FANTASTIC Friday everyone!
