“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Mother Nature hasn't been too cooperative here lately either, until just lately, but now we're cranking back up into the 90s again! Whine whine...lol! :-)

The weather here made me have to swap the challenge-R/R on Friday. Took a 4.93 mile walk this morning (80minutes). Would have made it a whole 5 miles, but mother nature decided to get nasty and DH came to the rescue-LOL

Busy weekend ahead!

Commuting to work on my bike again today finally the rains have let up.

I plan on noodling through our local JulyFest on my way home so I can some live jazz entertainment. I'll probably ride back into town for more music tomorrow.

Also tomorrow night I have the pleasure of catching up with a couple of fellow members of SparkPeople who have traveled from PA for a cycling event nearby. We'll be heading out for dinner. Sunday I'll probably slow down and catch up with my lawnmowing ...whew! Hopefully I won't need a hay-baler! :-)
