When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I keep 3lb dumb bells in my office-strength train while listening to conference calls and webinars....as long as there's no two-way video involved-LOL

Okay, let's try some leg lifts while at the PC today! Stomach / kegel crunches while driving. We'll see what else I can cook up...maybe I can persuade some clients to get out for some walk 'n talks? :-)

Happy Friday to you!

We all make schedules, and add exercise onto them. However, do you realize that you are missing a big opportunity? What about those DOWN TIME moments? Those moments where you have to quietly wait for something to happen.

Your challenge today is to ADD IN UNPLANNED EXERCISE whenever possible. Here are some suggestions:

*While waiting in traffic, do some oblique crunches.
*While waiting for your coffee to brew, copies at the copier, or a fax to come through, do some leg lifts and hammer curls.
*Park your car far out into the parking lot and walk.
*Walk/bike to your destination if possible
*Take the stairs instead of the elevator
*Instead of sending a text/e-mail to a co-worker, walk to them with the message
*While waiting for the bus to arrive, do some ankle raises
*While waiting for the noodles to boil at dinner, do some standing stomach crunches
*While waiting for the commercials to get over with, do a few crunches on the floor
