There is a link between energy (i.e. feeling good) and the foods we eat. Eating fruits and vegetables not only provide fiber, natural sugars, and additional water to your system. They also provide plenty of vitamins that fuel your body. They help keep our skin clear, nails strong, & hair shiny, keep bad headaches & migraines to a minimum, and depression at bay.
Your challenge today? EAT AT LEAST 1 FRUIT OR VEGETABLE WITH EVERY MEAL. Ways to get in your fruits and vegetables (it is recommended that you get at least 5 a day) are:
*Fruit or vegetable salad
*Grilled or steamed vegetables
*Tossing in vegetables into an omelet, pasta, or rice dish
