For those of you that have been living a healthier lifestyle for a while, do you ever catch yourself "guesstimating" on portion size? I caught myself doing this yesterday with a cereal snack mix. I got out my 1/2cup measuring spoon, poured some into it, and went over for a rounded serving. I thought: "Well, it is just a tiny bit over. It doesn't really count as extra."
Hold on a minute! Those little extras really DO COUNT. That's why it is important to read labels, weigh foods, and measure, measure, MEASURE!
Our challenge today is to MEASURE YOUR FOODS AND KNOW HOW MANY SERVINGS YOU ARE TRULY EATING. No fudging today, Team. Really pay attention to what you are consuming. Did you have a few tastes of dinner before it was served? Count those! Did you have a few sips of a soda, but not the whole can? Count those!!

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
