Happy Friday to you!
As we start to "get a hang" of this lifestyle change, we become confident that we can "eyeball" a serving. Have you gotten to this point? Do you:
*Pour cereal straight from the box into your bowl?
*Say "that looks like about 2 Tbsp. of half & half"?
*Say: "I'm sure I ate only 1/2 cup of ice cream"?
If you find yourself overly confident about your portions, you might be in for a shock.
Your challenge today is to MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE!!! Get out your measuring cup, spoons, and scale. Measure ALL foods and beverages consumed. You just might be surprised at how much you REALLY are eating & drinking.
Have a FANTASTIC Friday everyone!
“There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.”
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
