mine too....it is a good idea to do this periodically as you can see we can be off and that adds to the calories............

I had the measuring cup at the table this morning for my blueberries-everything else was portioned and I weighed my chicken and measured my veggies when I packed my lunch last night! Yes, my visual perception is sometimes WAYYYYYY off!
Thanks for the reminder!

Happy Tuesday to you!

As we start to "get a hang" of this lifestyle change, we become confident that we can "eyeball" a serving.

Have you gotten to this point? Do you:

*Pour cereal straight from the box into your bowl?
*Say "that looks like about 2 Tbsp. of half & half"?
*Say: "I'm sure I ate only 1/2 cup of ice cream"?

If you find yourself overly confident about your portions, you might be in for a shock.

Your challenge today is to MEASURE, MEASURE, MEASURE!!! Get out your measuring cup, spoons, and scale.

Measure ALL foods and beverages consumed.

You just might be surprised at how much you REALLY are eating & drinking.

What things did you find you were "eyeballing"incorrectly,share it with us here...........
