Happy WEEKEND to you!
Your challenge this weekend is to have ONE or more MEALS WITHOUT MEAT.
This might sound difficult, but it isn't. As food prices go up (especially meat), it is good to find other ways to get your protein
Here are some suggestions:
Whole Wheat Toast & Jam
Cup of yogurt
Peanut Butter & Jam Sandwich on Whole Wheat Bread
Cup of Bean Soup
Carrots, Jicama, and Celery sticks
Ground Soy crumbles, Whole Wheat pasta, and marinara sauce
Large salad sprinkled with sunflower seeds
This CAN BE DONE! Give it a try. Remember that:
*Soy (i.e. Tofu and soy products)
*Legumes (i.e. beans, beans, beans)
*Peanut Butter (i.e. nuts are great)
...all have protein. Make sure to read your labels.

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
