When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

Happy Thursday to you!

Today is about building strength in your body. We often focus on our eating habits and cardio to burn calories. However, many of us (me included) forget how important strength training is. Strength training tones up our bodies and keeps our muscles/bones strong. We all notice how great someone looks when they are toned and have muscle definition. As I always say, it is a balancing act:

Healthy Eating + Cardio Exercise + Strength Training= YOU at GOAL

Remember, you CAN do this! Your challenge today is to pick at least two strength exercises below. Feel free to use bands, a stability ball, or weights to make these exercises more challenging (if you have been doing strength exercises for a while and are used to them).

Do 2 reps (12-15 each) of any TWO Strength Training exercises. Check the fitness section for suggested Strength Training exercises.

Slow & controlled movements make these exercises really work. YOU CAN DO IT!
