Like you LITA, I am proud that I have not given up, even when for 2 weeks, the scale was stuck!!

To inspire myself when it wouldn't move, i just spent a lot of time on SP reading other's stories and posting and reading blogs :) it lets me know that i'm not alone in this.

L*I*T*A, looking at the number of posts you have, I am in awe that you continue. But on the other hand, I have found, here on the SP site, the same things you mentioned. I have only missed one day since beginning mid Oct. and that was not having my computer. Bless you for all that you do for others and the care that you have shown. You have raised some very thought provoking comments. I am going to be looking at these from time to time to regenerate my commitment for wt. loss. Thanks you again for being there when one needs you. Keep up your great work with all of us.

i am proud that i am still here and have not given up.......
i have tried many peoples (including dr's ) advice over time...some more successful than others....none the less i am also proud that i countinue to track everything here and that keeps me accountable as well......

this is what keeps me going everyday......

if you can answer these questions truthfully everyday...............there is no other option.............i just keep plodding along ..............i am treating this like a part-time job..................with pay of course(the pay is the weight loss albeit very slow).....................
The 5 D's of the Weight Loss Journey

Desire: What exactly do you want?
Defense: Are you prepared for the temptations that are bound to come your way?
Dedication: How hard are you willing to work?
Determination: How long are you willing to keep working?
Decision-Making: Are you willing to take total responsibility for the choices you make?

and the last thing which perhaps is the most important of all......... is Sparkpeople the site, people and teams that provide the suppport and motivation to me to keep coming back here everyday
blessings and hugs.............lita

Happy Wednesday to you!

First, name something that you are proud of doing for YOU since putting your health first.

Second, when the scale doesn't budge, what can YOU do to motivate yourself?

I think that we all hit "rough times" in our weight loss journey. This weight didn't come on overnight and it will take time and a few "rough roads" to get it off.

I am hoping that this challenge/discussion will help folks that are on the "rough road" right now.

Personally, I am hoping to get a few ideas and a little inspiration. We can ALL use that from time to time.

We can do this everyone! We are making ourselves into healthier, happier individuals.

I am VERY PROUD of each and every one of you.

Have a FANTASTIC Wednesday
