Your challenge today is to concentrate REALLY HARD on eating: LEAN PROTEINS & WHOLE GRAIN CARBS
Don't even look at highly processed proteins (i.e. lunch meat, hot dogs, etc.) or enriched white flours (i.e. donuts, white bread, white flour crackers, enriched white pasta, etc.)
Today, try having these healthy alternatives:
*Grilled fish or chicken
*Whole grains breads and cereals
*Legumes (beans are a GREAT source of fiber)
*Sweet potatoes (a flavorful, vitamin-packed alternative to the standard potato)
*Air-popped popcorn (skip the butter & salt!)
Think about it this way, how does your body REALLY feel after eating junk? The expert on the show I watched said that junk food consumption leads to: migraines, Diabetes, Heart Disease, memory problems, tooth decay, sluggishness, bad complexion, bowel problems (and the list goes on and on).
This list is all about "1 Day At A Time". THIS IS A LIFESTYLE CHANGE. You can't do it all in a day. Just take one day at a time. YOU CAN DO IT!

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
