On this link click on remedies.
It will give you some info on cocoanut oil which is a plant base saturated fat.
What are your thoughts on this instead of using butter in some places.

greAT information,don..............thanks for sharing.........

There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world

I believe it is very hard to find saturated fats in plants...my bet is plant-based nutrition of ANY kind is going to be superior for our health than animal-based...but just my opinion.

Perhaps you'll find some helpful info within some of these links?

To the best of my knowledge, the best sources are animal.

For some reason I think it's plant but will be curious if that is in fact the right answer.

I don't know either. Is there not an article in SP about it? Why not ask the experts?

I know we need to limit our saturated fats. But what I want to know is when you do use them, which is better, animal or plant. I am more so talking about butter and coconut oil.
Thanks, Joan emoticon
