Had a bowl for fresh blueberries for my morning. This afternoon, I am thinking a Quaker oatmeal bar (recently reviewed by Coach Nicole on Daily spark)-Ill be on the road and this seems like a handy choice.
Your challenge today is to keep your body fueled by eating 2 healthy snacks. By eating healthy snacks throughout the day, you are stabilizing your blood sugar levels. You won't feel the "mid-afternoon slump" when you add healthy snacks into your day.
What are "healthy snacks"? How about:
* yogurt and lowfat granola *Fresh fruit with natural peanut butter *Whole wheat tortilla with lowfat cheese *Handful of nuts *Fresh vegetables with a dollop of hummus *Lowfat cottage cheese with light sliced peaches *A smoothie *Lowfat energy bar
The possibilities are endless. Remember to eat a: healthy breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner YOU CAN DO IT!
Have a FANTASTIC Tuesday everyone!
There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
