Busted! I have not yet taken my measurements. I will have to get a base to go by instead of my clothing. I will add it to my 'to do list.'I will do it this weekend. Right now I have procrastinated working out so I am going to do 4 of Nicoles videos instead of going to the gym in the cold rain.
Wheresoever you go, go with all your heart.
I try to do my measurements once a week on Tuesdays (just the day I started) along with my weekly weigh in. I have to say that measurements often show the changes that the scale does not, so keeping track of my measurements is often a boost in confidence and motivation that the scale does not always provide.
Great challenge. I do this on the 5th of the month-started back in January. Happy to say that some inches have gone away!!
Happy Friday to you!
It is that time again. Time to get out your measuring tape and update your measurements. If you haven't measured before today, you can get base measurements to compare to next month.
Suggested places to measure are:
You do not need to share your measurements if you don't want to. However, if you want to share how many inches you have lost (no matter if it is a fraction of an inch, it is a GREAT thing), GO FOR IT!
Note: If you do not have a measuring tape, you can look up "Printable measuring tape" on the net and can easily print one out.
Make a notation to yourself to refer to later. Remember that there are times when the scale doesn't show progress BUT the measuring tape can be a comfort. Nothing boosts our spirits more than seeing our body measurements "shrink".
Don't forget to get in your water and multi-vitamin today too!
Have a FANTASTIC Friday everyone!

When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
