Your challenge today is to keep your body fueled by eating 2 healthy snacks. By eating healthy snacks throughout the day, you are stabilizing your blood sugar levels. You won't feel the "mid-afternoon slump" when you add healthy snacks into your day.
What are "healthy snacks"? How about:
* yogurt and lowfat granola
*Fresh fruit with natural peanut butter
*Whole wheat tortilla with lowfat cheese
*Handful of nuts
*Fresh vegetables with a dollop of hummus
*Lowfat cottage cheese with light sliced peaches
*Lowfat energy bar
The possibilities are endless. Remember to eat a:
healthy breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner YOU CAN DO IT!
