if i'm buying, i love the rudi's organic loaf breads. they are a bit pricier but worth every penny. yu can even pronounce all of the few ingredients. love it!
i also like to make flatbread. so easy and delish. mix warm water and yeast, let sit till foamy. add flour, olive oil and a bit of salt, mix, let rise 30 mins., knead just a little bit, then tear off pieces, roll into balls and flatten out. throw on the grill, oven, or skillet for just a few minutes each side, and done! (especially good on the grill) add a tomato salad, some arugula, and maybe a grilled shroom! talk about fabulous!
otherwise, i try to shop locally for specialty breads at bakeries where the people are in the know and can answer my questions.
