Soy based diets don't cause the cancer, it exacerbates certain types of breast cancer. So if you have that kind of breast cancer, you should avoid soy products because of the amounts of estrogen can make the cancer worse. Like I said though, it does not cause it. So if you don't have the cancer, or no family history of breast cancer, you should be ok eating soy.

I use extra firm all the time - regardless of what the recipe calls for. I just like the consistency more.
