Being gluten-intolerant is a tough one. There are rice noodles that are sold in Asian Markets or on the ethnic aisle of grocery stores. Trader Joe's has vegan gluten-free items also and they label their products as such. They also have lists in each store for vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free - each list is separate. Trader Joe's also has organic non-gmo canned beans and sauces that are in some cases cheaper than the bigger chain grocers like Safeway (Von's) or Kroger.

Most fake meats are made primarliy of either soy or gluten, so it's possible you have a gluten sensitivity. It's easy to make your own vegan foods from organic ingredients. Look up Jeff Novick, RD on Facebook. He has really simple recipes using basics like canned beans, canned tomatoes, frozen organic vegetables and spices over things like roasted potatoes, pasta, rice, quinoa, etc.

Eating whole organic vegan foods seems pretty simple and obvious. But, what are some favorite organic vegan foods I can find in stores. Obviously, there's tofu and beans, but what about prepared foods (I know they aren't necessarily good for you) that I can buy at the store. Someone mentioned Trader Joe's meatless meatballs and their vegan tomato basil pasta sauce. I'd love to hear more ideas. Also, I'm not a big fan of fake meat but would definitely eat it if I was craving meat. Most of those fake meats aren't very nice to my digestive track!
