Hi Benton... actually I have a book called the Best of Indian cookbook... then this month's Food and Wine magazine had an article on Ethiopian food... plus, I've checked out Marcus Samuelson's book on African cooking... I haven't really looked at food network for recipes yet, odd, since i love that channel! LOL Thanks for the tip

As for catering... you wouldn't now it but I never really enjoyed cooking... I am only enjoying it now, because I'm eating the fabulous stuff that these recipes create! :-) Thanks for the compliment, though!

So excited about the 17 Day Diet. It has truly taught me new ways of eating and being healthy. Although I've not followed the daily cycles since I finished Cycle 2 at the start, I do tend to choose only foods from all three cycles. I incorporate the added carbs as I can and we are living a 17 DD Inspired life! Getting us to goal!

The food sounds fantastic. Does the food channel have a web site with the vegetarian dishes you talked about included? In lieu of that, do you cater?

I enjoy the challenge of finding and preparing healthy recipes. On those days you can't cook it's nice to have a good supply of leftovers from those cooking up a storm days! LOL

My son (15 yrs old) decided to go vegetarian about 2 weeks ago. My husband and I have been on the 17 Day Diet and eating the lean proteins. We are also eating tons of vegetables. I have decided to take on the challenge of cooking for my son and learning ways of adding the good carbs to my husband's and my diet. I think I've been rocking it!

All three of us love Indian food and we watch the food network all the time... Marcus Samuelson is a chef on there that cooks Ethiopian food. I found an article in this month's Food and Wine magazine for an Ethiopian dish with cabbage, carrots, onions and turmeric... Made that, it was fantastic! Then, I made a Spinach and Potato curry on Monday night.... Amazing! Then, last night, I threw together some leeks and cabbage and also did a butternut squash couscous.

I'm actually having alot of fun finding healthy, delicious recipes!
