I ended up having a late night so I opted for a frozen entree over the pasta dish. I also couldn't find pine nuts at the store I picked a few things up at and bought some ready made pesto. I figure I will use it in the recipe even though I'm sure the fresh ingredients would be much tastier. I thought this might also be a way to cut down the calorie count! :) If anyone tries the recipe (or any of the others from the Humane Society) post your thoughts!
I recently signed up for the Humane Society's recipe of the week. Really pleased so far and it's fun to have a new recipe to try each week. This week was for Avocado Pesto Pasta... I'm dying to try it for dinner tonight. Can we say yum? They had me at avocado. ;)
