I love the Vega Smoothie Infusion and have it several times a week for lunch shaken with coconut water and ice. I did have some other Vega stuff that I didn't like because it was sweetened with stevia and had a funny aftertaste. The Smoothie Infusion come in single serving packs in a box, and they're super easy to use.

I also like the Nutribiotic Rice Vanilla protein powder.

BTW, you might want to rethink the protein limits. Go to and check out vegan protein requirements. I get by fine on around 46g, sometimes less sometimes a lot more. My bloodwork was good last time.

Nutribiotic rice protein powder I like it comes in several flavors I usually mix it with hemp protein. It tastes great on its own.

I know what you mean I have the same problem. I purchased a Vegan Protein Drink from Vega, I just don't like the taste of it I hear all Protein Drinks taste awful. emoticon

I also drink Dr. Shulze's Superfood the only thing with this one is 2 Tb. is only 1/3 of the daily required nutrients so you have to drink it 3 times a day.

If drinking supplements 3 times a day is a problem drink then try the Vega Protein Drink in the Mixed Fruit flavor.

Can anyone recommend a good vegan-friendly protein supplement? I am working with a dietician on a 1400-1600 calorie a day diet [down from my original 1800], and it seems that the calorie decrease has made me somewhat deficient in protein.
