Hey folks....guess what....i finally managed to break the jinx and cleared my certification exam and i actually scored a 100%!!! emoticon

And all the credit goes to the fact that i decided to start this thead ....no i'm serious...its when i started really thinking about how i'm going to be feeling if i posted a success story....

Its not about daily accountability. Its not about looking at things asif they were enforced on me and i had to do them as a chore.
Its the fact that i have finally discovered what ails me or rather what has been ailing me for all this while. It took quite some time to figure it out. I first thought it was lack of motivation, then moved on to procrastination, lack of will power and so on.....
But u know what - what i lacked was persevearance!! Thats it. That was the word. I tend to start things with great enthusiasm and then it wears of within days. Was it a lack of determination?? No - because determination comes when u perceive the end result as more positive than the current situation. I already knew that i wanted the outcome, but couldnt get myself to push forward. Thats when i found that what i was lacking is persevearance. Its the will to go on and see things to completion when the situation is adverse.

I can truly say that i am on my way to a new me emoticon But i now know - its the journey that is most enjoyable.

With one goal achieved - i am now focussing on my other goal - leading a healthy life thru regular exercise and balanced diet.

I am looking forward to posting another success story

Ok...this is a challenge i setup for myself. Anyone who's interested, can join in. This is a 28 days challenge program - aimed to improve consistency and build persevearance.

My goals:
Daily workout - 1 hr
Daily nutrition - less than 1500 calories
Daily study - 2 hrs

Timeline: 1 Feb 2011 to 28 Feb 2011

I know i'll be able to do this!!!
