Sounds goods - seems a little like the high interval training we were discussing in another thread. i go for aerobics classes thrice a week-so i need to see how to incorporate this into my schedule. U guys have any ideas?

I am doing this combo of walking and running for last two months almost and shall continue this month also.

I do this on a treadmill, I have started with 30 sec walk and 30 sec run for 20 min + 5 warm up and 5 cool down.

This is something that I have been building up the courage to do ..I always feel very self conscious to run/jog in front of other people but I do think that it would be a step in the right direction.

Does it matter whether you do this on a treadmill as it is too cold here to do this outside?

initially I had started with 3min walk/ 1 min jog, then revised to 2min walk/ 1 min jog.

today I went further and did 2 min jog/ 2 min walk.
even the artical says u have to try harder evry week.



New beginning !!

Have to start from the scratch !! But I wll do it !!

that's nice, i also love interval training

but i do 1 min jog/ 2 min walk
sometimes 1 min jog/ 1 min walk

interval training is truly the best

awsome info, I have already started walking / running combo since nov and lost 2.5 kg and couple of inches.

But this looks like a orgasined planning, I wll definitly give it a try.
