Yes, these are two seperate books. The EFS book is the newest one. I have the both of them, but following the regular FS diet. Both of them have a wealth of information.

Yes, the sweet pototaes are allowed and yes the boca burger are allowed, but you need to read the labels because many of the veggie burgers are made with bread or bread crumbs that that is not allowed until phase 3. The vegan bocca (original) are okay, but not sure about the flavor ones. You can't do any white potatoes. The sweet potatoes can be used as your protein. If you go to www.fatsmashforum.com there are many various recipes for the different phases. Especially oatmeal cookies are are sooooooooo GOOD!!! Good luck because you're doing great.

Ok I read the fs book and in phase 1 it says no potatoes, or meat but I ve read a few post on here and I noiticed some people have eaten sweet potatoes, is that allowed? So I guess the boca burger is allowed b/c its not really meat?

Hi, I'm sorry for the delay in the response. What most people would say is that FS is recommended for people who have 50 pounds or more to lose in a long period of time. The EFS diet is recommended for those who want to lost between 15-30 pounds or less in a very short period of time. Does this mean that someone who have 50 pounds or more can't do the EFS diet? No. You can do one or the other. I like both diets, although, I'm currently on phase 3 or the FS diet. The FS diet I really like that Dr. Ian has you do a 9 day detox before going into all the different phases. I do plan on doing the EFS diet because I like the structure. He has the plan all mapped out for you. I like that he explains that everybody is different and everybody responds differently to diets. In the EFS you can lost 12 pounds in 3 weeks. He was what you should eat each day along with the type of exercise based on the type of dieter that you are. I hope this explains a little bit of what each diet is all about. If you have anymore questions please ask and I will try to respond asap. Have a blessed day!!!
