Welcome Kesha, may you become as addicted to spark as some of us have become. These ladies whether they know it or not, are a lifeline to me. I am inspired an motivated by their stories, their advice, and their words. Getting started is a beatiful thing, and often the hardest. Now that you have crossed that bridge, just keep moving forward girl, and know that you have a haven to come to when the going gets tough or if you just want to hang out. I never get tired of saying it, I love this place!!!
Make the most of it, because Spark as well as the BBQ's has a lot of terrific things to offer and tool after tool to guide you. Blessings to you on your journey and much success. I feel ya on the HBP, I am shooting for that same goal, medfree maintenance.

Hi Keesha, I am new to this whole dieting thing too but I can tell you that talking to the other BBQ's is surely more motivating and fun than I ever imagined. I too am on HBP meds and before its over I plan to be med free. Keep on keeping on.

I am so new to all of this...(dieting, losing weight and especially posting messages). I am not computer savvy although I have read many of the messages from other BBQ members. I am so proud of you all and thanks to all of the drama free sistah support here at BBQ, I feel like I can do this. I am trying to lose weight as a result of gaining too much during my recent pregnancy which led to hypertension. I am happy to report that in just four months of working out, my blood pressure is at a very normal level without any medication. I have begun to take Spark People more seriously and actualy began following a meal plan this week. I actually like it for a lot of different reasons. just wanted to share a little something and I will be sure to visit often to read other peoples success stories and share some of my own.
