She is so correct I just learned all of those things and more from my doctor this morning..so I am re-commiting myself to my program even more this time it will be more intense. I want to live a long life and be healthy!

There are several reasons why nutrition is very important. Severe obesity decreases your lung expansion, and increased body weight increases tissue oxygen and demands, so if you are sick with the flu, because your lungs aren't able to expand properly, you will probably end up with pneumonia, with increased oxygen demands, your heart is working harder to keep up with the workload. Excessive carbs, clogs the arteries, squeezes your blood vessels, and in return give you high blood pressure, headaches, Coronary heart Disease(Strokes). Evidence suggests a link between high dietary fat intake and an increase in breast cancer, among post-menopausal women the risk of breast cancer appears to rise as BODY MASS INDEX (BMI) increases. Hormone Replacement Therapy (Estrogen), also increases breast cancer.
