I am feeling sooo good! That is the biggest benefit of all. I also bought some SHAPE UPS by Skechers. THey are supposed to help you tone, loseweight ect.. while you are walking around all day. That is great, but LADIES..these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn in my life. I work on a university campus and having these cute Mary Janes is so cool and comfortable.
I live my life and I am not a slave to food in the sense where I am stressed about what to eat. The 21 Day metabolism makeover is "no joke"..It really does take 21 days for something to become a habit and now I just make good, better and best choices with food. That is a breakthrough for me personally.
I have also come to view excercise in a way that is meaningful to me. 30 minutes a day with cardio and/or light weights is all I really need to do to lose weight and I haven't really execised at all. I chose not to exercise for the time being because I really, really wanted to learn how to eat and not ever have to diet again. I have always done the exercising and diet at the same time and I have always failed. This time, I am taking it one step at a time.
You Go Girl, I'm so proud of you and your accomplishments...Keep up the good work. This should be motivation for a lot of others that are struggling to accomplish what you have so far... again Thank you for sharing.
It is so "weird". I have never been able to stick to a diet and this is the only one that has CLICKED with me. I still live by the principles of the diet, but with school back in session, it has been harder to eat every 2 to 3 hours and also to make the fat loss plates. But, I am doing it about 80% of the time with regularity.
I have developed great HABITS...I know ONLY eat whole grains, brown rice and whole grain pasta. ALL breads and pastas must be HIGH FIBER. I drink tons of water and I only drink NO or LO-CAL drinks. Looking back, I realize I was drinking WAY to many calories. IT really, really adds up. I also switched to light high fiber bread too. Mayo and butter..Love them both, but I use either light or small amounts of regular regular mayo. I have never been a sweets junkie, so outside of my monthly cycle..I never crave sweets. I still eat potatoes all the time. But, I have learned the fine art of baking fries or even microwaving the seasoned fries and then putting them on a hot griddle sprayed with PAM Canola spray to crisp them up. Eating every REGULARLY has done wonders for me digestive system..NO more bloat and gas. The whole family has lost weight..Everyone is eating more reguarly and I am making so much more food at home.
