Everyone so far is correct I would like to say STOP the fast food. Buy more fresh veggies and fruits. Bake and stop frying, small portions and drink plenty of water. Please let me know if I can help you in anyway.

I also suggest you try out some of the recipes here on sparkpeople, they have several categories for meats, desserts, etc....I have done a few myself and I have enjoyed all I have made... Good luck

I had 3 George Foreman grills since they came on the market,because I do not fry any foods on a daily basics. If I fry something (chicken), its only once every 3 months. I use a crock pot and a rotisserie quite often. To give your veggies flavor try using chicken broth and Miss Dash.
Progress may be slow, but it happens!

smaller portions and baked meats and lean meats. More fruit and vegys. fiber stuff like oatmeal, beans, lentils, cream of wheat, lite ice cream, sorbet, jello.

i need to know how to cook healthy and not so much fatty foods this is my first time dieting and it's real hard for me so i need a support system and how do i know how many calories to consume in one day to know that im healthy???
