If you live near old Kelly USA, the track across from Bennett Fitness Center is safe, but you can't have dogs there.

I have a lot of friends that walk the track at different high schools. I'm not sure what time they go, but it's just another option for you to think about. Good Luck!

I think I'm going to try the Riverwalk and the Hemisfair park. The parks I usually frequent are closed from 11PM- 5 AM but I don't trust them after sundown. I would like to do my walks between 7 and 9 pm. Not to late but late enough to survive the walk with this soul crushing heat. Thanks for the advice. emoticon

I think most of the city parks in town have a 30-minutes-after-sunset curfew. :/ I like Barb's suggestion.

You may like the river walk. Usually plenty of police.

Does anyone know of any safe places or trails to walk at night in San Antonio. It's been way to hot to walk in the day and getting up early in the morning isn't an option for me, so I'm looking for a way to get my walking in at night. My neighborhood doesn't have any sidewalks or streetlights so walking around my block isn't an option either. I have 3 doggies that would love to go walking when it's cooler to.

Any suggestions?
