I know of people who have used Curves and it's worked for them. I belonged to one back in 2004, in Wisconsin, and I stopped going after a few months, but I generally stop going to gyms. I prefer to work out at home or outdoors. I did like it, though. It's circuit-training, where you do stations. I think they're 30 seconds or a minute each (been awhile, can't remember exactly), and they switch from cardio to ST every other one. The more you put into it, the more you'll get out of it. I think they weighed me every month as well, though I think I could also opt out of that. They didn't really hassle me all that much, though. Not sure about the membership fee. I think it was reasonable, but I didn't pay much attention because mine was reimbursed through my company.

I was just wondering if anyone could give me more information about Curves. Does it work? The other big question is the cost...does anyone know the membership fee? I'm going to use the 30 Day free membership, but I want to walk in there with no surprises. I hate feeling like I'm being hassled to join without knowing the 411. Thanks!
