Congrats! I finished chemo in March and I was so happy I think that my grin lasted a week! As already mentioned by my "BC sisters", the radiation will seem like a "piece of cake" after chemo. Hugs, Jo

Thanks for all the great info and encouragements.
Why might I need a colonospy before radiation??

Teressa--Congrats and I'm so happy for you to have completed the chemo. It was definately the hardest for me but the 5 day a week radiation was a drive and every day (almost) But they were always well organized and I was only there for a very short time. My radiation was in December, so while in town, I did some Christmas shopping. I Still had the fatigue, kinda, and my hair didn't grow near fast enough for the weather in the midwest!! 7 years ago now for me. Ahh--hhh--hh the memories.

And that's the truth! Radiation is a piece of cake compared to chemo. Congratulations, and good luck...

Congrats!! That's quite a milestone, now your body can recuperate a bit! If you have any questions on the radiation (general ones) I work in the field and would be more than happy to try to answer any that you might have. Plus there are so many women here that have been through it, they're practically experts as well! I think we would all agree that chemo is by far the harder of the 2, it just affects your whole body, whereas radiation treatments are confined to the area of interest.
Have a great day and keep us updated!! Suzanne

Wooohooo! Congratulations, now the hair will start to grow back!
Check with your doctor he might want you to have a colonoscopy before you start radiation.
