Hi, Welcome to our team. I have been with the team for about six weeks. These ladies our great. I thank you for sharing your story. I had a mastectomy seven years ago. I was so afraid that I was going to get cancer again and I was very uncomfortable that three years later I had the second one removed. I am sure a lot of people would ? me about that one. But now my mind is at piece and I know at least if I get it back it will not be there. I had chemo and I am scared to have it again. I just feel that I don't want to ever get that down again in my life. My husband is the greatest guy in the world. I love him very much and if he ever decided to leave me I would be very hurt but would understand why. We have been together since we were 18 years old and we are now 55 years old. We are more friends than most people realize. I think that what we have been threw is what keeps us going and life is so wonderful if you have each other and the material stuff not longer matters. My motto is JUST GIVE IT AWAY.

Just give it away!!!

Water is very important for us. We may, and I do, require more than the 8 glasses a day. The link goes to a water calculator I use to see what I need for my current weight. Mt requirement has dropped 9 ounces due to weight loss. Yipee!

In 2002 I had a mamogram. There were some calcified spots. These turned out to be cancer. Had a lumpoctomy and 6 weeks radiation. I had ductual in situ carsonoma. Everything look fine. 18 months later the cancer was back. This time I had inflammatory breast cancer. Wow! I had lost 20 pds and was working out three times aweek at curves. I told my cancer doctor I was one of his healthest patients. I underwent a mascectomy and reconstriution at the same time. I am a changed person. I do not sweat the little things anymore. I had great support, from husband, church and fellow employees at the elementary school that I work at. This is my condensed story.
