Abraham Lincoln's Gettysburg Address; Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Rider speech; Nixon's Checkers speech (this one was interesting); Bush's 9/11 speech; and several others. The author is Wynton C. Hall.

I am currently reading a trashy novel by Katherine Stone - my reading material runs the gambit.

No, it was very informative and interesting. I learned some backgrounds on famous speeches that I didn't know before.

OMG--I JUST finished "Eat Pray Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert. Her real life story of after a bad divorce, she travels for a YEAR to Italy, India and Indonesia, spending 4 months in each place. She is a writer by profession. She describes how she comes to terms with herself & learns how to change to who SHE wants to be. Excellent book!!!!!!emoticonemoticon
