Although your husband can eat anything he wants, ask him to eat healthy with you for your first 30 days, which is the hardest. He can also support you by going shopping WITH you. If you let someone else do the shopping for you, it's not going to help you in the long run.
I completely understand that it can be hard to balance shopping for yours needs and your husband at the same time. However, as harsh as this may sound; either you will have to ask God to give you the willpower to stay focused on your healthy needs or ask your husband or someone else to do the shopping for you. If your husband is supporting your efforts then he will understand and agree to help you with this struggle. As well, to help you stay away from eating that food once it is in your home. Stay encouraged and remember that your health depends on your actions.
God's Favorite! It all begins with Willpower.

What advice does anyone have for someone who dreads shopping for food? I love clothes shopping, except for the full length mirror, but when I go into any supermarket, I feel overwhelmed. I know that if you want to stay healthy and calorie conscious, you're supposed to stick to the outside aisles (produce, dairy, etc.), but I always get lost in the inside aisles. I know everything in the inside isn't bad, but the carbs call my name.
What do I shop for? I always have a list, but 9 times out of 10, no 10 times, I end up putting more and buying more than I planned.
How can I make myself happy and stick to my eating plan, not go broke, as well as feed my husband who can eat anything?
