on your success in nursing school. My husband graduated in May 2011. Even though I wasn't physically attended the program myself, I still dealt with all the stress. I had to help keep him on track (healthy eating and snacking) and focused. We lived pretty close to school he was attending so he would come home for lunch. I would fix some type of healthy breakfast (usally a protein shake for him, not really a breakfast person). If he did have to eat out for lunch, he would eat like a grilled chicken sandwich from Wendy's or something. Try to keep some type of nut snacks. Emarlds (find in walmart) has something called breakfast blend. There are several types: smores, nut blend, berry blend etc. It's a pack of mixed nuts (very delicious) with glazed walnuts, yogurt covered raisins, granola and peanuts (breakfast blend, haven't had any of the others). Some of them have almonds, and cranberries. Find which ever one you like and keep a pack or 2 with you. It's good for a sweet tooth:-) Just try to make as many healthy choices as you can. If you know your class may go out to eat as a group for lunch, eat a good healthy breakfast and bring some healthy snacks with you to help curve your appetite until lunch. good luck!!
God grant me the Serentiy to except the things I can not change Courage to change the things I can and..... Wisdow to know the difference.
Hi everyone I am in the middle of nursing school and well it's pretty hectic. I would love some insight and opinions on how to stay on track and eat properly when stressed out. Thank you for all your knowledge :)
