My gym has classes on weekends at 4:00 so I commit to making either Saturday Zumba or Sunday spinning. After awhile you get to know people and they help you keep going. I also learned about other activities such as Zumbathons from people in class.
Keep busy with other activities as well, stops the TV with mindless snacking. I usually plan next weeks meals and shop for groceries on the weekend. In summer I shop at the farmers market which is fun and healthy. Also resist the urge to stay up too late or sleep in to long, throws off your body. Get up and in bed within an hour of your usual time. Have a nap midday if you are tired.
Is it just me or does anyone else find it extremely hard to stay on track over the weekend. Monday through Friday are a breeze, but the weekend really seems to set me back. Does anyone have any suggestions for staying on track over the weekend. I'm thinking of trying juicing this weekend ( anything so I don't sabotage my diet like I have the last couple weekends).
Any tips will be greatly appreciated.
I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”
