I was shocked when I got to 10 minutes yesterday! I just kept looking down at my feet while listening to my iPod and when I happened to look up I was like "whoa". I stopped at 10 cause I was just plain tired.
What I noticed is if I do something else first (bike, treadmill) to warm up so to speak then do the eliptical I do alright, and my knees don't ache as much. I'll get my time in after I get off work today. One of the advantages to working for the YMCA, free membership. LOL
