One of my favorite Alaska stories is, her and I were watching a horror movie together and in this one part the main character was looking down a big pipe that led down to a cavern in the ground. As he is looking down a crow caws and scares the guy on tv BUT it scared Alaska so bad she ran behind the sofa and growled at the tv! I am telling you I thought I was gonna pee my pants and I laughed so hard! She on the other hand just gave me a disgusted look for making fun of her!
Make every day count!

It is quite funny from my end when she "answers" the door. If you want to see something really, really funny, you should see the look on someone's face (when it actually is my door bell) and I open the door and they are greeted by a 90 lb. ball of black & white fur. Anyone that doesn't know she lives here is quite "shocked" to say the least. Need I say, she's a very good deterrent. Everyone takes 2 or 3 steps back when they first see her.

LOL, awww how cute. I bet that is fun, because TV is full of door knocks and doorbells.

My dog doesn't pay much attention to the TV when animals are on it, but let a car/truck horn blow, or a door bell ring on the TV she will almost tear my front door down to "see who's come to visit her". She thinks it's her job to answer the door and welcome everyone.

HAHAH. Too cute. I know when we let our girls in the funniest thing is to watch their ears track the sound from our surround sound. Their ears will twist and flip forward again. Sometimes they will even turn around to figure out where the sound was coming from.
One time I was playing a game with a dog in it and it would bark and every time they heard it they would talk back to it. it was funny.

keiko loves to watch television and movies... She does not have a favourite but gets up close to the screen and goes to check behind the television when there are horse , cows , or dogs on....She also likes childrens cartoons for some reason .

My husky, Harley, has paid attention to the dogs on eight below too. When I first bought him, the guy I purchased him from had named him Demon because he looked like the Demon on that movie. Needless to say, I had to change his name!

How cute, I wish my girls were inside. I would love to share this experience with them. Keep us posted if you find any other movies they like to watch.

Umm, the only one we have is Eight Below. Mayah will watch the parts with the dogs, but just goes back to chewing her bone when they go off. I haven't really noticed any other times.

We have two huskies and although our girl could care less, our big boy has always loved watching dogs on television. Naturally, it wasn't longe before we started buying dvds for Romanov. I figure we are not alone in having a movie loving dog and I am wondering what other doggy movies are out there.
