Eating got me into this mess and eating is going to get me out of this mess
The greatest act can be one little victory ...Celebrate the moment as it turns into one more. Another chance at victory another chance to score. The measure of the moment is a diff'rence of degree. Just one little victory, a spirit breakin' free. One little victory. - Rush

Good point Mike. I'm pretty much a vegan baby myself. Darn. I guess it's just one function of being human.

I don't think that is a vegan trait I have been stupid all my life and only started this journey a few months ago

I just had to scroll all the way back down to see where it DID start! Somehow I haven't previously noticed feeling stupid being a significant vegan quality. I think we may have broken new ground here. The hidden vegan trait maybe? Most vegans I know are actually quite self assured- at least on the surface. ROTFL

Dude, I was joking! I didn't just feel stupid, I felt like a total idiot learning about the button after a whole year on Spark! I had made hundreds of posts using spell check and emoticons and never once noticed ADD A LINK.

Well, I did say "feel stupid" And just because I feel stupid, doesn't make anybody else that way just because they did the same thing or near abouts - I'm just hard on myself, because I am so new to computers & it is taking me forever to learn everything.

Not stupid at all; there is so much to take in on this site. And besides, if you are stupid, what does that make someone who took four times as long to learn it (me)?

OK, I feel stupid - I read what 55WALKER & Mike said about links - I have seen the Spell check box & the Add an Emoticon box, but somehow, my eyes never noticed the Add a Link box, right in between them. LOL! WOW!

Hi kessa, when you put in a link copy it to a note pad or other html reader then copy it from there to the add link in the message form, that might work

Not a problem. Do you click on the ADD A LINK button above the message box and type it in the window it opens?
I had never heard of bone char. That's just totally gross and even if it is removed from the product it was used in still... yuck. Eye opener.

I don't eat refined products myself, but always wondered which companies do & do not use bone char.
BTW, sorry that you would have to cut & paste my link - not sure why I can't get links to "light-up" so that you can just click on them - any where else I have ever done it, it works, except on SP???
click on "products" to get the link for bone char free sugar companies

I found a website that has a list of some of the companies that do and don't use Animal Bone Char is their whitening process. I know that it is removed before it is sold, but as a Vegan, I personally have a problem eating it knowing this. So, if you are interested, here is the link - http://www.veganproducts.org/sugar.html
