i joke that i eat "ingredients." veggies. fruit. cheese, chicken, etc. there aren't a lot of packaged things i can eat, because they usually contain gluten, corn, potato, msg, or nitrates/nitrites. your tastes will change if you work to educate your palate...that works for your kiddoes, as well. keep making healthy changes. it will get easier for your own personal food prep, but it is soooooo challenging to eat out! emoticon

There are a lot of cool gluten-free, dairy-free stuff out there now. I like Udi's and Canyon Bake House.

Do you like nut butters (i.e. peanut butter, almond butter, etc)? It can help with getting your protein and healthy fats while making you feel fuller. Just make sure you watch your portion sizes.

You can also google what you don't want in your food with the gluten free and you will find them.,

Hi Katie!
I am gluten free and mostly dairy free. I have a daughter who is allergic to eggs so I have also learned to cook egg free some of the time. If you tell me what you like to eat or what kind of recipes you are looking for I could give you some ideas of how to convert your regular recipes. What has worked for me is taking things that I enjoy eating and changing them to be free of allergens but still taste similar. My family and I do not eat stuff unless is tastes good and so we are probably like your daughters...picky. Let me know what you are looking for and I would be glad to give you some ideas. Barb

Im a mom of two very pickie girls age 3 and 16 months. my fiance is in the national guard and is gone alot. I still have baby weight from having both my girls but i want to lose it and fast. my fiance is overseas in kuwait and will be back in a few weeks and i wanna surprise him with how much ive lost but one problems... i dont know any gluten free sugar free dairy free stuff at all and all i've found looks like slop or is meatloaf and i almost hate meat i barely eat it all. do you have and trips please help!
