YOU GO GIRL!!!! that's the way i felt when i got into smaller clothes at last..yowzee that is always a great thing and it looks like you are really cruising doing all the right stuff about changing your lifestyle..i can guarantee if you keep those new habits you will succeed beyond even your wildest dreams..i know i did and i'm maintaining now 10 pounds below goal and not missing any of my old habits at all KEEP THE FAITH!!!! hugs mary

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to put this in, but I hope someone can take inspiration from this. Today at work, we had Hawaiian day, it's something we do every year to celebrate the founding of the company. I've never wanted to join in, because my mom's Hawaiian shirts have always been too small on me. Well, it came around and again and just for the heck of it I tried on one of his shirts... and it FIT. I almost screamed I was so happy. Last year, the buttons pulled at the gut and bust horribly, and even three months ago I couldn't have buttoned this shirt properly. Yet here I sit, wearing a perfectly fitting woman's large shirt.
I haven't made any huge changes in my life, at least no huge ones to me. I go to the gym as often as possible, and walk on days that I can't make it. I've cut my soda intake down to one a day, and replaced the extra sodas with water. I'm eating smaller meals more often, and avoiding fast food. It doesn't look like a lot on paper, but it added up to me in a shirt I haven't been able to wear in years.
