I am proud of myself for doing 3.1 miles in 36 minutes! I am getting in shape to do a sprint triathlon in July, in Sugar Land Texas. I have been focusing on the running portion of the race. Considering I haven't run since college, I think 36 minutes is a real decent time. I know that I will not get back to my 6 minute mile that I was able to do in high school. I'll be happy to get it around 7 or 8 minutes. Once I am happy with my running, I will do the bike portion. I can do 10 miles, just how long will be the interesting part. I have to wait on my meeting with the orthopedists to discuss my left shoulder to determine if I am being realistic. Have fun everyone and find a little goal to make. It gives you a reason to do all this exercise. It has taken my focus off losing the weight and put it on getting ready for the competition. And I lose weight anyway!

I can do all things in Christ, who strengthens me!
