Long weekend coming up = will it be a step forward or a step back - I chose to step forward.

Friday night - exercise - walk 4 miles.
Saturday morning - golf - afternoon - walk 4 miles then strength training.
Sunday - morning walk 4 miles.
Monday morning - walk 4 miles then strength training.

Sounds fun!!!!!

Heading to NYC tomorrow morning to see the lights. It's a pretty long drive, we're staying overnight and back Sunday. I'm bringing my pedometer and some warm winter clothing. Got another 4 miles in today and may do a bit more before the day is done.
Shark, sounds like you have a good plan. I also struggle with the eating after 7ish. I suspect it's my body looking for energy, but I don't know.

Let's refresh this thread - I could use a good weekend.
Sunday I will spend a good portion of the day at a football game - 6 hours or so and will eat little and will walk 2 miles roundtrip to the game. Sneak a workout into the morning - have my healthy breakfast and a Subway turkey no cheese for lunch.
Saturday - more time to exercise. Lift weights. Do a little shopping - walk around while shopping.
Need to be good from 7-11 each night - that is and will be the trouble spot. Can't go to bed at 7 - don't know anything about yoga - but maybe I'll check it out each evening.
Now there is a plan.

My plan for today is dismantle all the Halloween decorations and get out the Thanksgiving ones, lol!

Last night, putting up and then starting to dismantle Halloween decor. We'll be working on that some more today. Packing it all up for next year. Shopping post halloween sales looking for next years props. Relaxing a bit too. I had some biopsy's done and I'm supposed to avoid "straining and lifting" for a week. Sigh. I can now breathe and I have to go easy.

Electronic Monopoly! Didn't know about that.

Another firepit night last night! Great fun with neighbors after a long week for everyone. Good adult fun after the treaters headed home.

No candy no candy no candy - just say it three times and it should stick.

Golf today - weather is beautiful! And I snuck in 9 holes last evening in 1:03 - the way golf was intended to be played.

After dinner, I will be attacking the growing ants in the yard. Also, restarting a habit I had with my kids tonight, playing a game together as a family at least once a week. I think we are going to bowl Wii style, or maybe the new electronic modern banking mononoply board game. My kids love both, so I will let them choose!

This weekend--taking down and then putting back up my Halloween decorations in my yard. Big wind and rain on Saturday night. Shopping during the day and making some "ghosts" for my 2nd son's GF. She is like another daughter to me so it is a work of love.
Today--Halloween parade in town and then taking my 16yo to karate--somewhere, unless I can convince his older brother to take my car and just drive there together. I think I may be able to do that.
Weather today is beautiful! Lots of leaves down and a few bent branches in the trees and on the ground and the decorations are going back up--and maybe a few more.
So that's my weekend. How's yours?

Kids on spring break this long weekend. Will need to plan a little more to get the workouts in - too much snacking Saturday and Sunday night - big concern primarily as I need to beat that bug for life long success. Will be trying modifications to late evening behaviors - anyone got a good routine to cut off eating after dinner - I gotta say I have trouble stopping. Tried a walk last night but it only served to delay the problem - thinking about walk then earlier to bed tonite. (At least no Monday Night Football tonite)

I'm tired just reading what you did, Shark. I'lll probably be sore in the morning too! emoticon
My sister and brother-in-law are visiting today from Florida so we are enjoying their company. Last night I went to see my son play in the band at a football game and today march in the "homecoming" parade. I don't really like football so my DH and I took a walk while waiting for the half-time show last night. Probabl;y 5 or 6 miles by the end of the the day, including my exercise (3 miles) earlier, and chasing the rugrats around for 10 hours. 3 yo's and running 10 month olds----argh! emoticon

Customized a tough treadmill workout - did strength training. Mowed the yard and picked up 60 pounds of black walnuts from the yard - may pay for that in the morning - cleaned out a couple of areas of the house that needed it (badly). Snacked a little Friday night but overall doing well - and I am looking forward to Sunday.
