Okay Sox Fans, I am having to give myself a reality slap here. Made a HUGE goal a few months ago and have been sliding. I figured I'll share my challenge with you and see how many people we can motivate.
I did a quick search and found that the average American gains 8-10 lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years. I know, it's hard to lose weight with everything going on. I know, it's hard to work out between shopping, parties, family gatherings and all the rest of the madness... (Note to self... It's all madness!!!)
Now, I'm not saying that we should all stick to eating carrots when there's YUMMY food around. I'm just thinking that we've all worked WAY too hard to lose weight and get healthy to throw away that time and energy.
Here's the challenge:
I Challenge you (and me!) to get to January 1, 2011 and NOT gain weight.
How are we going to do this??
1. Take a small plate if possible
2. NO SECONDS
3. Make better choices at parties.
4. Enjoy small bites of the good stuff
5. Split the piece of pie with a friend
6. MAKE time to work out/ walk/ go dancing... MOVE!!
